A marvelous blessing to photograph a new baby boy. Experiencing the gifts of a new born again was a little bit of heaven. The precious sound of his breathing, the delicate softness of his skin, and his sweet baby scent. What a perfect subject for visual praise.
Alex Renbarger, a singer song writer and musician played at Black Hawk last Saturday night and I was honored to capture a few shots. He has a voice like that of an angel. I since a sweet humble spirit in this young man who lights up a room when he plays. Thanks for touching our souls. May God bless you with all spiritual blessings.
The snow is a beautiful subject for the artist. Offering the gift of a make-believe world of natural wonders. My favorite thing is the silent sparkles!!
Love this image of Lexi. The curvy waves of her hair express movement which becomes a personification of who she is, a ballerina. What a humble spirit and a beautiful young lady inside and out. It was such a joy to photograph her and I look forward to shooting again.
Photographing a family is truly a spiritual thing for me because the family unit is most precious in and of itself. To be a part of lifting a family up, "visually" tugs at my heart strings. I hope that not only the present family but also the future generations gaze upon their family photographs with humility, faith, and love.
Quite the challenge for a 20th century fine art photographer, inspired by the masters of the Renaissance to paint a photograph of Christ. This photograph, is one of a series, called "Only Son". God said in Matthew 3:17 "This is my beloved son in whom I am well pleased." These words tug at my heartstrings as I identify with His intimate love for His son. I too am a mother of an only son. Our precious and rare relationship is wonderful and my heart overflows with thankfulness for the gift I have in him. I love God because He loved me and gave His only son for all mankind....
This is a photograph of Levi, the youngest of three brothers to graduate from Concordia High School. He will be a Star someday because he is wonderfully talented in theatrical arts. I have watched him grow up and I am so impressed with the young man he has become. Thank you, Levi, for giving me the honor of photographing your senior pictures. You are a joy and I do believe I captured your handsome face and sweet spirit in this black and white image. I wish for you the BEST senior year full of joy, peace, and wisdom. Look forward to making more photographs of you in action...
This is Jazz my "baby girl"! Words cannot describe the true joy that I receive on a daily bases from her. Walking and watching her swag prance as she is so proud to be holding her own lease on the way home. The other day I was blowing bubbles in the kitchen with one of those small bubble kits. Hundreds of tiny bubbles filled the room and Jazz began to catch them jumping up and popping as fast as she could. Our Heavenly Father is so good to give us our precious canine companions. What a divine gift, one formed by His mighty hands. True unconditional love!
The sun decided to peak out and warm up a cold winter day. Many times I have talked with God as I looked at His beautiful creation of the land, trees, and light. The sound of the birds are coming back as we approach Spring and I am happy with a heart filled with gratitude for this blessed view. " O burning sun with golden beam. O rising morn, in praise rejoice, O light of evening, find a voice. Oh, praise Him! Oh, praise Him! Alleluia!" From the song, All Creatures of Our God and King....
